Study Hall provides a safe and nurturing environment for Upper School Students (grades 5-8) after the regular school day ends. Students have designated time to complete homework and enjoy a healthy, allergy aware snack under the supervision of our enthusiastic and caring staff. Homework help is also available when appropriate. We look forward to spending the school year with your family.

2 days/week = $100/Monthly

More about Study Hall
St. Michael’s Study Hall is a State-certified childcare program. All enrolled students in grades 5-8 are eligible to participate. Our program is evaluated by the Arizona Department of Health Services annually.
Study Hall is offered from 3:20 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on all scheduled full School days. 12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. on half days during the regular School year. There are a few exceptions for the start of a holiday or end of year. Please refer to the 2025-2025 Academic Calendar for these exceptions.
Families may enroll in a Study Hall contract or may drop-in occasionally. We have found that consistency is best for students, the program and schedule planning.
At the conclusion of the School day, students come to the Study Hall room and are signed in by the Study Hall staff. It is a silent Study Hall until 4:00 p.m. with Chromebooks provided to complete homework. After 4:00 p.m. there will be a choice of supervised inside or outside play. There are no personal electronic devices allowed to be used in Study Hall. This includes cell phones. A parent or guardian must sign the student(s) out to take them home. If someone other than the listed authorized individuals are picking up the student, it must be communicated in writing to the Director.
