Caroline Zlaket

Teacher: Math, Upper School

M.Ed., University of Notre Dame
B.A. in Sociology, University of Notre Dame

Caroline Zlaket has been teaching since 2022 and started at St. Michael’s School in 2024. Originally from Tucson, Miss Z grew up in her mom’s classrooms yet never thought she’d be lucky enough to work with her someday! After taking a few education classes during her time at the University of Notre Dame, Miss Z decided to pursue an education degree after completing her undergraduate studies. Miss Z joined the University of Notre Dame’s ACE program, earning her M.Ed. while teaching 4th Grade for two years in Stockton, California. After graduating, Miss Z longed to be back in Tucson and close to her family again (and she really wanted to get rid of her winter coats). She feels utterly at home at St. Michael’s and incredibly lucky to plant roots here. Miss Z believes that anyone who does math is a math person, and that math can and should be fun! This year, Miss Z is also eager to begin work as the new Director of Belonging to foster a greater sense of community on campus. When she is not rooting for Notre Dame football or Arizona basketball, you can likely find her reading a good book, playing cards with her family, or enjoying a frequent trip to Bubbe’s Bagels to try the new bagel of the month.
