Tony Antista

Tony has been the choir director and musical theater producer at St. Michael’s School since 2006. He has been teaching music at private schools since 1992 and brings decades of experience to his role. Tony holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in music from California State University, Fullerton, and later continued his studies at the University of Arizona.

A lifelong lover of theater and performance, Tony inspires his students to pursue their passions, with many going on to perform on stages across the country, including in New York. Others have followed his example by becoming music educators themselves. Together, Tony and his daughter, Rachel, bring St. Michael’s annual musical to life – a beloved tradition that inspires our young performers year after year.

Tony and his wife, Tracey, are proud parents and grandparents, with a family that continues to grow.
