B.A., University of Connecticut
Matt Santucci has been teaching at St. Michael’s School since 2007. His career began with an internship in the Special Education Department at the Ledyard School District in Connecticut, followed by student teaching in 5th grade at the Regional Multicultural Magnet School in New London, CT. After several months of substitute teaching, a fortunate opportunity led him to Tucson, where he completed the 2006-2007 school year as the K-5 Physical Education Teacher at St. Michael’s. He stayed on in that capacity for 8 years before taking over the Upper School Physical Education position. This role has proven to be an ideal match for his passion for sports, fitness, and teaching. Mr. Santucci holds certifications in Movement Assessment from Functional Movement Systems, Rowing Machine Instruction from Concept2, and Kettlebell Instruction from Strength Matters. He and his wife are proud parents of a two-year-old daughter, who is excited to join the St. Michael’s Class of 2037.
