Autumn Brown began teaching at St. Michael’s in 2025. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Michigan State University and her master’s degree in education from the University of Missouri. Autumn began her teaching journey 25 years ago in the Bolivian Andes, where she taught English to indigenous youth. She then took some time off to further her education through travel and independent study, trekking through the Himalayas and exploring Europe and the South Pacific. Later, she returned to teaching, instructing upper elementary and middle school students at international schools throughout Latin America before returning to the U.S. to teach in Alaska. A lifelong learner and global educator, Autumn enjoys reading, writing, tinkering, cooking, and travel. She is excited to bring her experience and passion for learning to St. Michael’s.
