Dear St. Michael’s 8th Grade Families,
As you know, the Graduation Committee is well underway in planning for the 2025-2026 graduation celebration, and we need your help!
The Graduation Dinner and Reception will be held at the beautiful La Mariposa Country Club on Friday, May 22nd. This special evening will include a DJ, dancing, a photographer, decorations, and a delicious dinner. It will truly be a night to remember and a fitting farewell to St. Michael ‘s and to the friendships our children have built over the past nine years.
In addition, as tradition dictates, the Class of 2026 will present a special class gift to leave its mark on our school.
Our Goal
The overall cost of graduation events and activities is typically around $30,000, with roughly one-third of that amount coming from ticket sales. To make the celebration, class gift, and student extras (including class shirts and more) possible, the graduation committee aims to raise over $30,000 this year (this includes ticket sales).
While fundraising events help significantly, it is ultimately up to our 8th-grade families to reach this goal.
How You Can Help
We have several fundraising events planned this year, including Parents’ Night Out, Dia de los Muertost-shirt sales, Free Dress Day, hoodie sales, and dine-out nights. Please support these events when you can!
Look for email reminders with details and opportunities to get involved. We also rely heavily on direct donations, which you can make on this page. All donations are tax-deductible, so this is a wonderful opportunity to give before the end of the year if you’re planning charitable contributions for 2025. Any amount is truly appreciated!
We kindly request that donations be made by January 31, 2026, to ensure the earliest possible planning insights. Donations will continue to be accepted up until graduation day.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and our St. Michael’s community. Together, let’s give our kids the celebration they deserve for their hard work and accomplishments!
With gratitude,
The Graduation Planning Committee
