Our commitment to the arts is alive and well in and out of the classroom, incorporating high-level classroom instruction in the visual and performing arts, on- and off-campus student choir and instrumental performances, a Broadway-worthy annual musical-theatre production, student art exhibitions, and off-campus field trips to a variety of local art museums, theatres, and symphony halls.
Holiday Concert
Our Lower and Upper School choir and band perform holiday performances for parents and families to enjoy annually in December.
Musical Theatre Performance
St. Michael’s students have the unique opportunity to participate in an authentic musical theater experience with professional costumes, sound, lighting, sets and makeup design.
Some our more recent productions include High School Musical, Aladdin, Frozen, Into the Woods, and The Little Mermaid.
Coffee Caberet
St. Michael’s Choirs perform at a lively outdoor concert on campus called Coffee Caberet. The Choirs also represents the school in the community, performing at the such events as the Tucson Botanical Gardens, La Encantada tree lighting, and the Tucson Festival of Books.
Fine Arts Night
Our annual Fine Arts program celebrates student music. Performances take place in our Student Center, where our theater comes alive with lights and sound featuring singing by Lower School students and Upper School choir and band performances.
Art Expo
Our much anticipated Art Expo is an evening filled with art and community as we trun our school into a gallery and showcase the incredible creations of our talented students. This event is not just an exhibition; it embodies our commitment to holistic education, allowing each young artist to express themselves and share their unique perspectives with the community.
