St. Michael’s 65th Anniversary Celebration and Designation as a National Historic Site

St. Michael’s 65th Anniversary Celebration and Designation as a National Historic Site

We welcomed many familiar faces from our cherished school community as we gathered to celebrate a remarkable milestone – our 65th Anniversary. In 1958, our school was brought to life by the visionary architect Josias Joesler, carrying his artistic touch and the enduring legacy of his work. Our campus, thanks to Joesler’s vision, is more than a place of learning—it’s a place of beauty and inspiration that enriches our students’ experiences.

Commemorative plaques honoring our historic recognition will be prominently displayed on our school building and on our beloved St. Michael and All Angels Church.  These plaques honor spaces that have shaped generations and nurture a sense of belonging that transcends time.  At St. Michael’s, students are part of a living legacy. They’re connected to those who walked the halls before them and to those who will follow. Students learn and grow within classrooms that have witnessed countless dreams and achievements. Our historic environment invites curiosity, grounding students in a world that values both tradition and innovation, setting the stage for their growth and discovery

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our alumni, parents, and current families for their involvement in honoring our significant achievements over the past 65 years.  Your dedication and participation not only celebrate our past, but also ensure that future generations may know, value, and continue our heritage. Together, we have built a legacy that we can all take pride in.
