The Halo Fund

Each year we INSPIRE and encourage our School community to participate, as able, in our most significant fundraising campaign called the Halo Fund. This philanthropic effort encourages all St. Michael’s families, faculty and staff, Board of Trustees, and alumni to make a contribution. Our dream is to achieve 100% participation by our community. Every contribution, no matter the size, reflects the unity and spirit of generosity that defines St. Michael’s School.

We are excited to announce our ambitious goal of raising $150,000 beyond tuition costs. These funds will play a crucial role in ensuring academic excellence and supporting vital improvements that directly benefit our students and our community.

We have identified a few impactful improvements and initiatives to highlight this year:

• New Insulated Glass Bi-Fold Doors for the Creswell Courtyard Music Room. This upgrade is essential as we prepare for the installation of central air-conditioning in the music room for the summer of 2025. The doors will add lots of natural light to enhance the learning environment for our students and promote energy efficiency and sustainability.

• Faculty Professional Learning Communities. Developing and sustaining an excellent teaching faculty at St. Michael’s is foundational to the success of our students. This funding will enable our teachers to share best practices, learn new research-based methods for teaching and learning, and continue their professional development in collaborative mixed-grade groups.

• Park and Campus Safety. Security is our top priority. A proposed fence with added landscaping and plants on the south end of the Harold Bell Wright Park will add to the aesthetics of the Park space and provide a boundary between the Park and the easement adjoining St. Joseph’s Hospital.

  Your gift enables us to respond to these identified needs as well as emerging opportunities. In short, the Halo Fund is the resource that we draw on to make our dreams realities and plays a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of all of our students.
