Charlotte has been teaching 5th and 6th grade history at St. Michael’s School since 2021 and also serves as a 6th grade advisor. Born and raised in England, she began her teaching career in the London school system and has been in education for nearly 30 years. Prior to joining St. Michael’s, Charlotte taught in Tucson’s public schools for 20 years.

A passion that Charlotte holds close is that students learn best when they feel nurtured, heard, and supported. A positive teacher/parent/student relationship is also vital to a student’s academic progress. Charlotte loves seeing the joy students are able to experience through history projects, and the links students make to the present day and their own experiences.

Charlotte’s daughter has attended St. Michael’s since Kindergarten. At home, she enjoys family time (including dogs, cat, and guinea pigs), travel, reading, swimming, and is an Equine Facilitated Learning Instructor with her sweet horse as her partner.
