Teddy Ruetz is a dedicated 1st grade teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. He approaches teaching with a philosophy rooted in kindness and curiosity, believing that when these qualities are present, true learning takes place, and a strong, supportive classroom community is created. Teddy is passionate about fostering social-emotional development in his students while also providing rigorous academic opportunities that challenge and inspire them. He sees the classroom as a place for exploration, where students not only gain knowledge but also experience the world around them.
As a lifelong learner, Teddy seeks to instill the excitement of discovery and personal growth in his students, encouraging them to approach each new challenge with an open mind and heart. Outside of teaching, he enjoys playing the piano, traveling to new places, indulging in excellent food, and experimenting with puppetry, which allows him to bring a bit of creativity and fun into his classroom. Through his blend of curiosity, compassion, and dedication, Teddy creates an enriching and dynamic learning environment for his students.
